Welcome to the website of the integrated LIFE project "LiLa Living Lahn", project number IP-LIFE14/DE/022. The project is funded by the EU Commission with funds from the EU-LIFE program.

Here you can learn more about ‘LiLa- Living Lahn River’, the first integrated German LIFE project that aims to enhance the ecological health and connectivity of the river itself while simultaneously enriching the quality of life along the river. By the project activities, an added value will be created for the region by developing synergies between environmental concerns (water ecology, flood protection and nature conservation) as well as recreational use (tourism, sport).
